The film made by descendants of former prisoners of the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp was shown at the commemoration event for the Remembrance Day at the Sachsenhausen Memorial on 27 January 2023.
Relatives of former prisoners of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp from all over Europe created a ceremony for the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of National Socialism at the Sachsenhausen Memorial and Museum. Not all of them could be present in person. In short video messages, six descendants tell the stories of their relatives who were imprisoned in Sachsenhausen concentration camp. They also talk about why it is important to them to remember today. The film was screened as a part of the commemoration event on 27 January 2023.
