Thoughts from the symposium from Social Media
I visited Sachsenhausen for the first time during our autumn seminar, only a few months after my Grand-Dad Klaus had passed away. Needles to say, this experience felt truly special, and even overhelming at times. Very quickly, I started taking notes in order to document the seminar, like you would have a diary, but also becuase I needed to focus on an intellectual task in order to process my own feelings. Every day, I would write posts and share them on my social media accounts – The intrest was much bigger than I had expected! That is why I’ve deceided to shate them on the website as well, so that the next generations can have a recollection of how we developed the project. Who knows? Maybe in a hundred years, digital archelogists will fall upon these texts and use them as part of their research! Until then, you’re most welcome to wander through my thoughs, where the destination is the journey…
